Use & installation
The posts are used as an anchoring element to stabilize slender gabions against tipping. They are set in concrete depending on the ground conditions. The gabion is then placed over the post and filled with stones - this wedges the post into place and ensures that it stands securely.
- Embedding depth in the ground: approx. 50-80 cm (depending on the ground)
- Embedding length in the gabion: at least 2/3 of the basket height
- Post length = embedment depth in the ground + embedment length in the gabion
