Attachment Gabions: Flexible extension of your Gabions
Our extension gabions offer you a flexible and practical way to easily extend existing gabions. These special gabions are designed to be seamlessly attached to gabions that have already been installed. With types 2, 3 and 4, you have the choice of extending your gabions either in length or height - depending on your needs and project requirements.
Gabion cultivation – what options are there?
Our extension gabions are available in three different types, which are characterized by their special construction and are ideal for extending existing gabions. These gabions offer the same stability and durability as our standard gabions, but are optimized for extension.
Type 2 - Extension in length: This type of gabion extension is perfect for extending the length of your existing gabion system. There is no side grid, so the gabion extension can be connected directly to an existing gabion. This saves material and ensures a seamless connection.
Type 3 - Extension in height: Type 3 extension gabions have neither a bottom grid nor a cover grid. They are therefore ideal for extending your gabions upwards. This design enables a space-saving and stable extension that is perfectly tailored to your existing structures.
Type 4 - Extension in the upper length: This type of gabion extension is ideal if you want to extend your gabions both lengthwise and upwards. Here, both the bottom grid and a side grid are missing, which allows a seamless connection to existing gabions in the upper length.
Various mesh sizes to choose from:
- 5x5cm: Ideal for a fine and elegant look, especially with smaller filling materials.
- 5x10cm: A balanced mesh size that is versatile and offers both stability and flexibility.
- 10x10cm: Suitable for coarse filling material and larger projects where high stability is required.
Closure options:
- Spiral closure: Simple and efficient, quick to install and ensures a secure connection.
- C-ring closure: Provides a particularly strong and stable connection, ideal for demanding projects.
